This summer, we're enjoying our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) share from NATASHA House, a transition shelter that helps homeless women and their children in our community achieve self-sufficiency. Their CSA is called Seed 2 Table, and the beautiful produce is grown organically by the staff and residents of NATASHA House.
I was so excited to connect with this super-cool community program, a win for us too, since I love supporting local food systems, especially organic ones! Our share for this past week included:
- Banana & bell peppers
- Herbs (basil, oregano, tarragon)
- Summer squash
- Swiss Chard
Our many thanks to the hard-working folks who grew these veggies and herbs for our meals!
