You don't really need a recipe to make a smoothie, but it helps to have a general feel for what goes together (and what doesn't). This Apple, Blueberry & Carrot Smoothie (ABC--ha!) has a lot of natural fiber in it, and the consistency is less like a milkshake and more like what I've named a "Chewy," for lack of a better term. It also doesn't have any added sugar, unlike many of the bottled smoothies you can purchase at the store (at exorbitant prices, might I add). Think of this smoothie as a drinkable pseudo-salad. The pop of color is kind of nice this time of year, isn't it?
